Sir Elton picks Jacinda Ardern as the modern woman he'd like to be

Imagine Elton John as Jacinda Ardern.

The flamboyant Rocketman has paid a nice tribute - as long as you don't try to picture it - while fielding questions in The Guardian from famous fans.

Model-actor Cara Delevigne wanted to know if Elton John could be one woman alive, and one from the past, who would he be?

Sir Elton said to choose from today's women was hard because there were so many candidates, but he thinks he would choose Jacinda Ardern, the prime minister of New Zealand.

He says she's one of the few politicians that he respects and loves as she's got dignity and she's humane and he thinks she's doing a brilliant job.

As for the past, that was easier.

Sir Elton said it would be Elizabeth Taylor because she was talented and brilliant, beautiful, she had a lot of sex and she had the most fantastic jewellery.
