The Boxing Commission of Fiji says a Fiji heavyweight belt is now being made to be presented to James “The Beast” Singh this week.

It has been two weeks since Singh knocked out Jonasa Kavika at Lawaqa Park to claim the title.

Boxing Commission Chairman Subhash Appanna says they have done their investigation and they now know what happened.

He says there was a person that delivered belts to the ring throughout their past five boxing programs.

Appanna says the person that delivers the belt is supposed to liaise with the promoter but that did not happen.

He says they have the new belt and it is getting engraved.

Appanna says he is ready to take the blame but his removal will depend on the Minister for Youth and Sports.

Meanwhile, James Singh says it is shameful that the Boxing Commission has not even contacted him.
