Laisana Likuceva and Lavena Cavuru scored two tries each to help the Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team win their second pool match in the HSBC Singapore 7s.
The Fijiana 7s side thumped Brazil 29-7.
The Fijiana girls were ruthless on attack and defence, scoring three tries in the first half to lead 19-0 at halftime.
Talei Wilson was shown a yellow card for a high tackle with 2 minutes left on the clock in the first half, and this gave the Brazilian side a chance to score their first try through Gisele Gomes Dos Santos.
Looking at other results, France thrashed South Africa 49-0, Japan thumped the USA 22-0, Canada beat Spain 28-7 and New Zealand defeated Ireland 31-12.
The Fijiana 7s last pool match is against Australia at 4.50pm today.
The Women’s quarter-finals will start at 8.27pm tonight, the semi-finals will begin at 5.02pm tomorrow, and the final will be held at 9.41pm.
