The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s are through to the semi-finals of the Singapore 7s after beating a determined French side 33-21 this afternoon.
Joseva Talacolo scored Fiji’s first try and Terio Tamani added two other tries to give Fiji a 19-7 lead at the break.
Iowane Teba scored a brilliant try at the start of the second-half while Napolioni Bolaca was given a red card for a dangerous tackle.

Jean Pascal Barraque, Joachim Trouabal and Varian Pasquet scored a try each for France.
A try to Pilipo Bukayaro with one minute left sealed the victory for Fiji.

Looking at other quarter-final results, Samoa edged Uruguay 22-7, and Argentina beat Australia 29-12.
New Zealand will meet Great Britain at 5.24pm.
The cup semi-finals will kick off at 8.13 tonight and the cup final is at 11.28 tonight.
