The many errors committed by the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua resulted in a 40-10 loss to the Waratahs in their first Super Rugby Pacific match in Sydney last night.
The Drua held their own in the first 15 minutes of the first half but their silly mistakes cost them as the Waratahs ran away with two unanswered tries.
Another three tries were then scored by the Waratahs in the second half.
The first points for the Drua came through a penalty in the 15th minute of the first half and this was converted by Baden Kerr.
Captain Nemani Nagusa went over the try-line to score the Drua's first try in Super Rugby Pacific late in the match.
During moments of the match, the Drua could not keep up with the pace of the game.
The Fijian Drua will now turn their attention to their next game against the Brumbies at 3.35pm next Saturday.
