Simeli Daunivucu the son of former 7s Rugby World Cup winner and scrum-half Jone Daunivucu has made his debut in the Top 14 Competition in France.
The 18-year-old signed up for La Rochelle as a fly-half and will broaden the fly-half options if he gets selected into the Flying Fijians.
Daunivucu came on as a substitute in the 65th minute against Stade Francais.
It was a losing effort as La Rochelle went down 13-18.
La Rochelle is also home to Flying Fijian Demolition Man Levani Botia.
19-year-old Seru Tomasi who is also part of La Rochelle is yet to make his appearance in the Top 14 competition.
