The Minister for Youth and Sports, Jese Saukuru, has assured the Fiji 7s Men’s team that they will receive their money after the rest of Team Fiji, who are currently in Paris, return home.

While expressing his pride and joy in congratulating the Fiji 7s Team for securing a silver medal in the Paris Olympic Games, Saukuru commended the team for their hard work, dedication, and resilience, which showcased the true spirit of Fijian rugby to the world.

He says a National Celebration will be organized for all of Team Fiji, where the promised money will be distributed.

$50,000 for gold medalists, $20,000 for silver, and $10,000 for bronze.

Saukuru congratulated both teams for making the nation proud and expressed his anticipation for more great achievements from them in the future.
