Sigatoka Town Council workers clear drainage systems ahead of severe weather approaching

The Sigatoka Town Council workers are clearing up all drainage systems of debris and cutting tree branches which may cause damages in preparation for severe weather.

Sigatoka Town Council CEO Tulsi Ram says they are also clearing up any loose materials such as pieces of tin and other materials lying around.

He says the public can also contact the Council for help in removing such items from their compounds.

Ram says his team is ready to take evacuation measures should the need arise.
