Sigatoka Bridge to be closed temporarily

People travelling through Sigatoka Bridge and the Queens highway are advised to proceed with precaution as the Melrose bridge will be closed from this hour until five tomorrow morning.

Public Works Department spokesperson Iliesa Sokia said this is due to some maintenance work that needs to be carried on the bridge. However, only a single lane will be open to traffic.

He says the bridge will be closed again next Wednesday at the same time.
