Sheraj Obeyesekere has been appointed as the new CEO for the South Pacific Stock Exchange.
Obeyesekere is originally from Sri Lanka and has 12 years of experience in the corporate sector, having worked across various industries.
When fijivillage News asked about the upcoming plans for SPX, Obeyesekere says they will be meeting stakeholders and listed companies to know their concerns and suggestions.
The CEO says after this, they will be looking to implement the strategic plans and when required, they will do a thorough review of the existing policies and technology structures.
He further says that going forward, they will have a collaborative approach in terms of including stakeholders as part of their plan.
Meanwhile, SPX Chairman, Nitin Gandhi says Obeyesekere’s contributions will bring a lot of positive impacts.
