As Christmas draws closer various faith-based organizations continue to show the reason for the season as acts of mercy and kindness are seen on the streets in Suva with people sharing the word of God and so forth.
Newly appointed Vice President of the Methodist Church, Jone Vuto, was seen visiting the homeless people on the streets of Suva, encouraging them to attend the church services for today and sharing the word of God with them.
Vuto says the Methodist Church has to restore the lost image of Christ, and these lost people are examples of the restorations that people often overlook.
He was appointed to the position of Vice President of the Church this year and wants to be a beacon of hope for youths and those families facing hardship in life.
