Crusaders and All Blacks winger Sevu Reece will miss the rest of the 2023 rugby season, including the Rugby World Cup in France, due to a knee injury.
Coach Scott Robertson confirms that the 26-year-old star injured his knee earlier this month in his side's win over the Blues at Eden Park.
Robertson says they really feel for Sevu, as he has been incredible for them, and it is a big loss to the team.
The Crusaders will meet the Reds at 8.35pm Friday.
Meanwhile, the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will face the Rebels at 3.35pm Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium.
