Several roads in the Central Division remain closed

Several roads in the Central Division remain closed

The Fiji Roads Authority confirms that Waila Feeder Road, Alfred Road Dilkusha and Waituri Road, Waidamudamu Creek Feeder Road are closed due to flooded crossings. 

Buiduna Road and Dawakoto Road are also closed due to flooding. 

Meanwhile Vuci South Road and Princes Road are open for single lane only due to flooded crossings and Vunaniu Road is also open for single lane due to gravel on the road. 

Meanwhile, Nakobo Road in Cakaudrove is closed due to flooding and Buca Bay Road has been reduced to a single lane due to slip in the Northern Division.

In the Eastern Division, Navaga Crossing on Koro Circular Road is closed as a bridge has collapsed and people are being advised to use alternative route via Navaga village.

The FRA is urging the public to take necessary precautions and adhere to the advisories from relevant authorities.
