Several crossings closed in the Central Division

Due to continuous heavy rainfall since last night several crossings are closed in the Central Division.

This include Naboro Cocoa Road Crossing, Volata Cocoa Road Crossing, Wairua crossing, while Waisa Crossing is partially under water.

Meanwhile, the Nadi Weather Office says trough of low pressure associated with clouds and rain remains slow moving over the Southern and Eastern parts of the group.

They say it is expected to affect the group throughout the weekend.

They add localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding in low-lying areas.
