Seven Digicel Fiji staff were certified as Money Minded trainers today.

These trainers will deliver ANZ’s Money Minded Financial Literacy program to their staff and communities.

ANZ and Digicel have partnered to deliver ANZ’s Money Minded Financial Program.

Digicel’s Head of Learning and Development Eddie Sukanaivalu says the Money Minded Program gives training to people in their organization and communities the skills to plan for the future, save their money, budgets and set realistic and achievable goals.

Meanwhile, ANZ Head of Rural banking, Sitiveni Marovia says the program is already on the ground and the response has been quite overwhelming.

Marovia also says the Money Minded Program is one that is also provided to the workers of the Seasonal Workers Scheme and will continue to be provided to them and the rest of the community.

The Money Minded program has been successfully delivered to some 9000 people across the Pacific by accredited ANZ trainers since it was introduced in 2010.
