Marisilini Seruvono of Saliadrau Namosi is beating all her struggles to earn a living for her family and support them through selling bamboo curtains, mats, wild boar tusks, photo frames and flower vases.
While sharing her story with fijivillage News Seruvono says they have to cross rivers and go to the forest during rainy or sunny days to collect their materials and make their products.
She further says to sell her products they have to bring them to the towns or cities, for which they have to pay $600 truck fare.
The 34-year-old says she learnt about making her products from the village ladies as these are their talents through which they earn money. The mother of 1 encourages all women to show and share their talents in encouraging other people to grow and earn a living.
