Families around Suva can now avoid rushing to do last-minute back-to-school shopping tomorrow as selected shops around Suva will be extending their opening hours today to allow parents more time to do their shopping.
Chair of Special Administrators and Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Suva City Council, Tevita Boseiwaqa, is encouraging shoppers to plan ahead and make the most of this convenient window to avoid the weekday rush.
Boseiwaqa added that customers should take advantage of the extended hours today to ensure they have everything needed to start the school year smoothly.
