Tupou Cakacaka has reaped the rewards of his hard work after purchasing his first fiberglass boat and engine from the $19,000 which he managed to save after being part of the Australian Seasonal Workers Programme.
Cakacaka who hails from Udu village, Totoya, Lau says that he will use the boat to provide services to villages from Udu to Tovu to allow people to access postal services and health facilities.
Cakacaka, who was part of a team of 10 workers that were deployed last year, returned last week after completing six months of employment.
