The search for the two people missing at sea will resume this morning as it was called off last night due to bad weather.

Police from the Sigatoka Police Station, villagers from Korotogo and the Fiji Naval Force are part of the search team.

A report was received at 5 am yesterday by Police that three people went out fishing when strong currents caused their boat to overturn just outside the Sigatoka River Mouth.

One of them managed to swim ashore and informed Police while the other two were swept out to open sea.
