The Manly Sea Eagles pulled an impressive comeback in the second half to beat the Bulldogs 24-22 in the first week of the NRL finals last night.

The win has seen them advanced into the second week of the finals where they will take on the Roosters.

The Bulldogs held a comfortable 22-12 lead in the early stages of the second half but the Sea Eagles pulled two converted tries in the final quarter of the game to come away with the victory.

Bulldogs five-eighth Matt Burton had two chances to level the scores in the last two minutes but his attempts at two-point field goals pulled up short.

Manly will meet the Sydney Roosters at 9.50pm this Saturday in the second semi final.

In the first semi final, the Sharks will take on the Cowboys at 9.50pm this Friday.
