Schools in Ba, Rakiraki, Tavua, Lautoka, Nadi and Sigatoka are closed due to flooding

Minister for Education Dr Mahendra Reddy has confirmed that all schools in Ba, Rakiraki, Tavua, Lautoka, Nadi and Sigatoka are closed due to flooding.

Reddy is advising children and parents to take precautions and make the right decisions.

He says some teachers and students are stuck at home because the road leading to their school is flooded.
