All Blacks and Hurricanes second rower Ardie Savea has issued a warning to all teams that are going to play the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua in the remaining rounds of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific to be ready because the Drua are dangerous.
After the Hurricane’s disappointing 27-24 loss to the Drua at the HFC Bank Stadium yesterday, Savea says he hopes other teams do not make the same mistake the Canes did yesterday by underestimating the Drua.
He adds the result was disappointing for them but they will learn from it and says the Drua was just too good.
Savea says they were not clinical enough and gave away too many possessions and penalties and says they found it hard to cope with how the Drua played with their flair.
Meanwhile, in other matches yesterday, the Crusaders beat the Force 48-13, the Blues survived a scare from Moana Pasifika winning 31-30 while the Waratahs overcame the Reds 32-24.
In today’s match, the Rebels will take on the Brumbies at 4.35pm
