Save the Children teams are monitoring the storm closely and stand ready to support the Government of Fiji to respond.
Save the Children Fiji CEO, Shairana Ali says the aid agency has stockpiles of aid including shelter, hygiene and education kits in key locations across the country.
Ali says they are ready to do whatever is needed to support affected children and families of Fiji.
She says the cyclone could have harmful impacts on children, both in terms of their physical and emotional well-being.
