Fijian Drua Interim CEO Brian Thorburn says Flying Fijians prop Manasa Saulo brings a vast wealth of knowledge and experience to what will be a very young squad.

47 test veteran Saulo is among the five new players unveiled today which also includes Kitione Salawa Junior, Samuela Tawake, Sorovakatini Tuifagalele and Joseva Tamani.

Thorburn says Saulo has been to two Rugby World Cups and fans will remember him as part of a scrum that surprised the Wallabies in 2015.

Saulo is a product of the Fijian rugby system, having been a part of the national age-group teams, Sukuna Bowl and provincial rugby.

The Super Rugby Pacific will start on February 18th next year.
