Sand Masters visit Fiji

A 13 team of professionals sand sculptors from America are in Fiji to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Outrigger on the Lagoon.

Sand Masters is a US reality television series that premiered in June last year on the Travel Channel.

The show follows a team of sand sculptors as they travel to various locations to create elaborate sand structures.

General Manager Peter Hopgood said the sand masters have persisted with their sand sculptures given the current weather conditions.

He added that because the Sand Masters are well known in the world, their visit will promote Fiji that will benefit tourism.
