The Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji has formed an interim wing to look after cultural and religious singers.
Bhajan Singer Anmol Chand has been appointed as the interim president.
National President of Sanatan Dhram Dhirendra Nand says it will be similar to the Sanatan women’s wing, sports wing, Brahman wing and the youth wing.
Nand has also proposed that every cultural and religious singer be registered under the new wing and have a proper identification card and a registration number.
National Vice President Keshwa Sharma says singers should be respected for the knowledge they possess.
They expect to formalise this after 3 months.
