Samo recalled to Wallabies squad

Fiji Born Radike Samo has been named in the Wallabies expanded 40 men Tri-Nations squad.

Samo returns to the Wallabies after a lapse of seven years revitalised his career after joining the Reds at the tail end of last year’s campaign as an injury replacement.

The Queensland Reds have been rewarded for their Super Rugby title win with 15 players selected in the squad.

Australian coach Robbie Deans said the heavy presence of Reds in his squad is a deserved reward after their historic win over the Crusaders in last night’s final.

Some of the notable names are: Adam Ashley Cooper, Kurtley Beale, Luke Burgess, Quade Cooper, Will Genia, Matt Giteau, James Horwill, Digby Ioane, James O'Connor, Lachie Turner and captain Rocky Elsom.
