Former Fiji 7s forward, Taniela Sadrugu will join the North Queensland Cowboys Top 30 squad next season after agreeing to a one-year contract extension.
The 24-year-old arrived at the Cowboys on a one-year Train and Replacement deal prior to the 2022 pre-season with limited rugby league experience.
Originally slated as a forward, Sadrugu switched to centre shortly after arriving in North Queensland and has enjoyed a standout season in the Queensland Cup for the Townsville Blackhawks.
In just 14 appearances, Sadrugu has registered 44 offloads, which are the second most in the competition, along with 67 tackle breaks, six tries and eight line breaks.
