Sadio Mane has been included in Senegal's squad for the World Cup in Qatar but will miss the first game against the Netherlands next Tuesday.
The 30 year old Bayern Munich forward was forced off in the club’s 6-1 victory game against Werder Bremen, last week.
Senegal have been pooled with Qatar, Ecuador and Netherlands in Group A.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup begins on Monday.
