The South Pacific Stock Exchange has launched a Standard Template for the Articles of Association for its listed companies.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Acting CEO for the South Pacific Stock Exchange Krishika Narayan says the template was drafted for the listed companies that would streamline their processes in accordance with the Companies Act 2015 and the Listing Rules of the Stock Exchange.
Narayan says a lot of input is required in preparing this crucial document and in order to develop a robust regulatory framework, the Exchange is providing this as an additional service for its listed companies.
She also added that the listed companies will now compare the standard Articles of Association against their own and will make necessary adjustments before adopting the template at their next general meeting.
Meanwhile, the total market value of all the 19 listed companies at 30th June stands at a value of $1.49 billion with majority of the listed companies share prices standing at an all‑time high.
