A SODELPA government will bring back the Public Service Commission Scholarship, Fijian Affairs Scholarship and the Multi‑Ethnic Affairs Scholarship.

This has been highlighted by SODELPA candidate Salote Radrodro during the launch of the SODELPA manifesto in Nasinu.

Radrodro says that when SODELPA comes into government, they will remove the Tertiary Education Loan Scheme and current serving students will not have to repay their loans.

Radrodro also claimed that the current Toppers Scholarship is unfair to the iTaukei students.

The SODELPA candidate highlighted that almost every citizen is paying the plastic levy which is one of the taxes funding the scholarships therefore the Toppers Scholarship must be equally distributed.

She says that SODELPA has been accused for being racist for trying to bring back old scholarships.

Radrodro also stressed that the Great Council of Chiefs was important in electing the President and chairing the Native Land Trust Board which is now being chaired by the Prime Minister.

SODELPA assures their supporters that they will bring back the GCC.
