SODELPA announces 54 proposed candidates for the 2022 General Election

SODELPA has officially announced 54 proposed candidates for the 2022 General Election including Party Leader Viliame Gavoka and Acting Deputy Leader Aseri Radrodro.

Gavoka says he has faith in all the 54 selected proposed candidates that are announced today.

The proposed candidates have been announced based on the party's constituency system.

Gavoka will be standing for Nadroga, Anare Jale for Lau, Mikaele Leawere for Serua, Aseri Radrodro for Naitasiri, Simione Radrodro for Naitasiri, Simione Rasova for Kadavu, Tanya Waqaniika for Suva, Dr Mere Tuisasalo Naulumatua for Lami, Semesa Karavaki for Suva and Kiniviliame Kiliraki for Naitasiri. Ro Teimumu Kepa will be standing for Rewa, Dildar Shah for Suva, Seremaia Tui for Ba West, Ana Rokomokoti for Bua, Mesake Koroi for Nasinu, Manasa Draki for Lautoka, Faith Grace for Lautoka, Setefano Osonamoli for Namosi, Orisi Leveanakadavu Seruitanoa for Cakaudrove West, Nacanieli Sautuca Waka for Tailevu South, Peniasi Daveta for Lautoka, Jope Koroisavou for Nasinu, Josaia Cakau Gonewai for Suva, Losena Salabula for Nasinu, Ratu Solomone Catarogo for Macuata North and Marika Baleca for Naitasiri.

Jiosefa Dulakiverata will stand for Tailevu North, Peni Sokia for Tailevu South, Uraia Rasake for Nadi Urban, Ro Ilisoni Vuidreketi for Rewa, Jovilisi Suveinakama for Rewa, Sitiveni Naciriyawa for Navosa, Koroi Tikoilomaloma for Suva, Peni Senikarawa for Ra East, Ratu Jese Balenaivalu for Tailevu South, Sitiveni Weleilakeba Vodo for Nasinu, Paula Navunisaravi for Nasinu, Lydia Elana Lazel for National General, Umesh Chand for Nadi/ Sigatoka, Mereoni Rakatia for Naitasiri, Temalesi Dinati for Nasinu, Jese Volau for Nasinu, Tevita Cokanasiga for Macuata South, Lepani Toko for Nasinu, Ana Kulanigone for Ra West, Pauliasi Matawalu for Ba East, Hazarat Ali for Labasa/Seaqaqa, Bulivou Ratu for Ba West, Ratu Osea Vutikalulu of Tailevu North, Sweta Singh for Suva, Eliki Batirokomoro for Naitasiri, Ifereimi Vasu for Kadavu, Sireli Korovulakula for Ba East, Ratu Josua Tubunaverevakabau Uluiviti for Lomaiviti, Atonio Lavekau for Cakaudrove East and Vijay Lal for Ba.

Gavoka says 56 proposed candidates were supposed to be announced, but two have asked for their leave due to medical and family issues.

He believes this is a solid team that will win them the 2022 General Election.

Gavoka also highlighted their plans from today onwards.
