Fiji Soccer Captain Roy Krishna has received hero’s welcome at the International Airport in Kolkata, India.

A large crowd gathered at the Indian Airport to welcome Krishna and ATK football club’s fans were in numbers chanting Krishna’s name for a long period of time.

The former Wellington Phoenix star announced earlier in June that he has signed a one year contract with Indian Super League club.

Krishna finished the last A League season with 18 goals, winning the Golden Boot Award in the process and was also the best A‑League player.

ATK has won the Indian Super League twice out of its five editions in 2014 and 2016.
