Rooster Poultry Chicken has announced a three-year sponsorship for the Fijian Drua for their Super Rugby Pacific campaign.

Fijian Drua Interim CEO Brian Thorburn says they are delighted that Rooster Chicken has stepped on board to be part of their historic Super Rugby journey.

He says they are grateful to them for their belief and supporting a brand new team.

Thorburn says sponsors are crucial to their objectives both on and off the field and it is through their support that they are able to cover the large operational costs of a fully professional rugby club. Rooster Poultry General Manager Stanley Raniga says most fans grew up watching Super Rugby and they could not miss the opportunity to sponsor Fiji’s first team in the competition.

The Fijian Drua will announce other sponsors who have stepped up to back the franchise in the coming weeks. The Super Rugby Pacific will begin on the 18th of February next year.
