Australian Police have charged Samuel John Rokomaqisa over the suspected attempted murder of underworld figure, Ibrahem Hamze amid ongoing conflict between Sydney’s organised crime networks.
Sydney Morning Herald reports, 31-year-old Rokomaqisa who was arrested yesterday has been charged with conspiring and agreeing to murder, being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence, driving a stolen vehicle, reckless driving, robbery while armed with a dangerous weapon and driving while disqualified.
He did not apply for bail in Parramatta Local Court yesterday and it was formally refused.
Hamze, a senior member of the Hamzy crime family, was saved from the alleged attempt on his life when on August 14th.
