Rochdale wants to host Fiji Bati game

The Fiji Bati team may be facing an easy game when they take on Ireland in the 2013 RLWC as there is a push to have it hosted in a town with strong Fiji links.
A spokesman for the club said that the Rochdale Hornets want to host the group match between Fiji and Ireland as there is historic links between Hornets and Fijian rugby league players and there is a sizeable Fijian community in and around Rochdale.
The Fiji Bati team has been Fiji is also pooled with world number three, England and 2008 RLWC defending champions, Australia and Ireland.
