The Fiji Roads Authority will begin roadworks on the badly affected sections of roads in Nausori Town from 8pm tomorrow.

FRA says works will begin on Gulab Nabi Road, subject to weather.

They say majority of the work will be carried out at night, including curfew hours, however some work will be carried out during the day.

The Authority says all works will be sequential so that sections of the road can be used during peak hours.

Meanwhile, Pratt Street in Suva will be closed for night-works between 7pm to 6am tonight and tomorrow night.

FRA says during this time, no vehicle will be allowed to enter Pratt Street as works will be in progress.

Motorists will need to come through Selbourne Street or Hercules Street subject to works not happening on these junctions.

They say their contractors will be on site to provide access for emergency events only.
