Fiji Roads Authority will begin work on approximately 2.9km two-lane Queen Elizabeth Drive Road project at the end of this month.
The Queen Elizabeth Drive Road widening project will be carried out in three stages where road works will be carried out from Ratu Sukuna Road to Vuya Road including Nasese Bridge, Vuya Road to Muanikau Road and Muanikau Road to Laucala Bay Road.
While speaking at the public consultation at Suva Grammar School, Fiji Roads Authority’s Chief Executive Officer, Jonathan Moore says road works on the three stages is a two-year project and worth two million dollars.
Moore says this project includes the upgrading of footpaths, cark parks, roundabouts and also the extension of the Nasese Bridge.
