Road route license cancelled for Zakreen Holdings Limited

The road route license granted to a bus company, Zakreen Holdings Limited has been cancelled.

The Land Transport Board had granted the license to the bus company in 2011 however the Fiji Bus Operators Association had appealed against the decision on the basis that LTA had failed to convey the decision to the objectors and interested parties.

Zakreen Holdings Limited was providing services along the Suva Nausori corridor, Verata and Sawani-Nausori area.

Fiji Bus Operators Association President, Virendra Kewal said the travelling public will not be affected by the tribunal decision as the bus company was running parallel services with other companies.
