Fiji Roads Authority is progressing well with its road rehabilitation works in parts of the Central Division.
FRA CEO Jonathan Moore says works in the Nabua commercial area, Karsanji Street and Nabua Bypass Road is progressing well. Moore adds they have completed one section of Princes Road, Ratu Sukuna and Fletcher Road while other sections are currently in progress.
Moore says they will continue with their ‘rehabilitate, not repair’ approach to ensure the best value for money while fixing the roads.
He says all the major arterial roads in Suva City will be dealt with through rehabilitation.
He also adds in order to keep road users, pedestrians and FRA workers safe, a temporary 30km per hour speed limit is being enforced for vehicles travelling through the worksite and nearby areas.
