The sacrifice of waking up early in the morning to train has paid off for Josaia Rinakama as he won gold in the Senior Boys 800 metres final In the Marist Brothers Interhouse Competition at the HFC Bank Stadium.
Rinakama who is in Claudius says if they have consistency, this year will be a different year for them.
Meanwhile, Isimeli Tikoduadua won gold in the Sub-Junior 800 metres for Claudius house.
Tikoduadua says he took part in athletics since primary school, and with his training he is sure to make the school’s zone team.
Meanwhile, Augustine continues to lead the Marist Brothers Interhouse competition at the HFC Bank Stadium.
They currently have 10 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze.
Claudius is now second with 7 gold, 5 silver and 8 bronze.
Alphonsus is third with 4 gold, 8 silver and 5 bronze while, Lambert with 1 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze is fourth.
