Richard Naidu has pleaded not guilty in the matter where the committal proceedings has been brought against him by Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum.
Naidu allegedly posted on his Facebook page a picture of a judgement in a case represented by his associate that had the word 'injunction' misspelt, and then made some comments that he was pretty sure the applicant wanted an injunction.
Meanwhile, Fiji Law Society lawyer, Romanu Vananalagi had told the Suva High Court that they are applying for Queen's Counsel Laura O'Gorman from New Zealand to represent the society to appear in court by video link because they cannot fund for her continuous visits to Fiji for the trial and other expenses.
Gul Fatima, who is representing the Attorney General says the Law Society is saying they don't have the money and it's the duty of the counsel to attend in person for a trial.
The case will be called again next Thursday.
