Rewa through to BOG semi-finals while Ba eliminated after 5-0 thrashing

Extra Supermarket Rewa are through to the semi-final of the Rooster Chicken/Scoops Ice Cream Battle of the Giants Tournament while Dayal's Sawmillers Ba are out after the Delta Tigers thrashed them 5-nil at the HFC Bank Stadium.

Rewa led 4-nil at halftime after Solomon Islands import John Orobulu and Samu Kautoga scored two goals each.

Epeli Valevou scored the other goal.

Rewa coach Rodrick Singh says the boys played well and there is no need to change the lineup of they perform consistently.

Meanwhile, Flick Hygiene Suva and Flick Hygiene Lautoka are through to the semis as well.

The last semi finalist will be decided after the Extra Supermarket Labasa - Smart & Efficient Security Services/Calgary Nadi match which is currently underway.

To qualify, Nadi needs a draw while the defending champions need to win the match.
