Rewa for the first time has secured its place in the OFC Men’s Champions League semi final after edging Hekari United 3-2 this afternoon in Tahiti.
Rewa led 1-nil at halftime.
Tevita Waranaivalu scored for Rewa while Samu Kautoga was the hero of the match as he scored twice for the team.
Rewa coach, Roderick Singh says it is a special feeling for the team and he acknowledged the team for not losing hope till the end.
Singh says they will prepare well for the semi final as they want to make Fiji proud.
It is yet to be determined who Rewa will play in the semi final.
