Rewa secures 3-1 win over Ba to keep semi finals hope alive

The Extra Supermarket Rewa FC side has kept their semi finals hopes alive after securing their second win in the Rooster Chicken/Scoop Ice Cream Battle of the Giants Tournament beating Rooster Chicken Ba 3-1 in their group B clash this evening.

Epeli Valevou, Abu Zaid and Asirovosi Rabo scored for Rewa while Gulam Razool scored for Ba.

Rewa will now wait for the outcome of the Labasa vs Ba match which will be played later to determine their fate for the semi finals.

In the other matches played today, Labasa beat Suva 2-0 while Lautoka beat Tailevu/Naitasiri 5-1 and Navua beat Nadi 2-1.

Meanwhile, Lautoka and Navua are the only teams to have booked their place for the semi finals which will be played next month.
