In the lead up to their preparation for the 2022 OFC Champions League, Rewa lost to Auckland United 4-2 in a friendly match in Auckland last night.
Despite the loss, coach Marika Rodu says it was a good game and they got into it very quickly.
He says they are making the same mistakes that has been hurting them and there is lack of concentration when the players are tired.
Rodu says they need to ensure when they are down physically, they manage the ball well.
Rewa takes on Nikoa FC in their first match of the OFC Champions League at 3pm next Friday, followed by Auckland City on the 8th of August and Hienghene on the 11th of August.
