Rewa Rice Limited re-branded to Fiji Rice Limited

The rice farmers in Dreketi in Northern Division will be able to reach new customers locally and internationally after the re-branding of Rewa Rice Limited to Fiji Rice Limited.

This comment was made by the Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism Faiyaz Koya while commissioning the re-branding ceremony at Friendly North Inn in Labasa last night.

Koya says that this will give an opportunity to the company to join other bigger companies and position itself amongst other competitors.

He adds that Fijians will be able to provide wide range of choices to the new markets.

Meanwhile, new Fiji Rice Limited produces more than three hundred tonnes of rice each year.
