Thousands of residents living in the wider Deuba area and parts of Navua are concerned about the daily water disruptions they are facing.
Chairman of the Serua/Namosi District Advisory Council Kamal Narayan says the situation is frustrating as this is a serious sanitation and hygiene issue for their children.
Narayan says its also frustrating for those who travel to Suva for work everyday.
The Water Authority of Fiji has said residents there will be experiencing low water pressure to intermittent supply from now until further notice.
Affected areas include Nasasa, Viwawa, Rovadrau, Nakaulevu, Waikalou, Waidradra, Makosoi, Pacific Harbour, Lepanoni Qarasaru, WainiyabiaVanuadogo Vunimaqo, Lomeri and Galoa.
The interruption in water supply is a result of a blockage at the Matavuralevu intake that is causing restriction to inflow to the Deuba Water Treatment Plant.
