Repair works start for health facilities in the North and Lau Group after minor damages during TC Tino

Minister for Health Dr. Ifereimi Waqainabete confirms that some health facilities in the North and in the Lau Group have sustained minor damages during TC Tino and their maintenance teams have begun work on the facilities.

Dr. Waqainabete says they are still assessing the damages and the Ministry is also making sure that appropriate budgetary appropriation are being made to repair the damages.

He says facilities sustained minor damages such as solar panels being blown off and damages to the water tank.
