Repair works continue on transmission mains as Nausori and Raralevu residents still have no water

The Water Authority of Fiji has confirmed that they are still continuing the repair works on transmission mains from the Waila Treatment Plant to Raralevu Reservoir.

Residents along the Nausori and Raralevu corridor are currently facing water disruptions.

Areas affected include Dilkusha, Baulevu, Kasavu, Vunivivi, Vuci South, Nausori Town, Nausori Health Centre, Nausori Village, Wainibokasi Rd, Wainibokasi Hospital, Cautata, Bau Island, and all areas connected to the Raralevu Reservoir.

Water Authority has confirmed that they have started to cart the water in the affected areas.

No time frame is given when the supply will normalise.
